Jett at 3 months...

Here is my sweet little Jett! I can hardly believe that he is already 3 months old! These last 3 months have been the most trying and most wonderful months of my life! Having 3 kids is a big adjustment! It really has been a lot smoother than I anticipated though! Jett is the best baby! He is so calm and quiet most all of the time! We love him so so much and are truly blessed by having his sweet little spirit in our home. Here are a few fun facts about our boy!
-He loves his mama! Whenever I walk into the room, he hears me and looks for me, and when I talk to him he instantly starts to smile!
-He started sleeping through the night last week! A heaven send, let me tell ya! My first to do so before the age of 1!
-He has such a happy demenor! He's content to just chill out on the floor, or be held be his brothers or his mom or dad, or really anyone who'll hold him!
-He may have been my smallest baby born, but is quickly catching up to where his brothers were at this age!
-He still sleeps in our room, cause I can't bare to part with him just yet!
-He loves his brothers and smiles so big when they come near him!
-He "talks" all day long, and loves to tell ya a good story!
-He'll take a bottle, boob, anything really as long as it has food at the other end! ha ha!

As you can see we all love him so much!!

Halloween, hey it's better late than never right?!

We had a blast on Halloween! I asked Wyatt what he wanted to be, and he said a GI Joe, and Garrett said he wanted to be a ninja, and Wyatt says, "yeah, a ninja GI Joe!" So here we have my adaptation of a ninja GI Joe, we decided to make all three of the boys the same thing, and they looked so CUTE!

Another 5 weeks older, blessing day, 2 months old, pumpkin patch, and carvin em up! In no particular order and LOTS of pics!

So, yes it has been yet another 5 weeks since I have posted! Sorry! Having three little boys sure does keep me busy! The laundry alone would have me held up in the confines of my house if it weren't for the help of Ryan! So my sweet little Jett is now 10 weeks old! I can't believe how fast time is flying by! It seems like just yesterday I was a miserably fat pregnant woman with a sweet baby boy kicking me from the inside! Now he is 2 months, demanding his cow whenever he feels need and cute as a button! We had him blessed on Oct.11th and were SO grateful for all our family and friends who made it out for his special day! I won't include any pictures of that yet because he was a little grumpy and he is crying in every picture, so I am going to put him back in the suit and take some new "happy" baby pics, I hope! :)

This year we were determined to find a pumpkin patch to take the boys to, because we have failed at finding one every year! But low and behold this year we finally found a few! It was freakin freezing, so we didn't wander around too much, but the boys had a blast finding their pumpkins while Jett slept away in the warm confines of the car! Then last night for family night we let the boys "paint" their pumpkins with permanent markers while Ryan and I carved up the big ones, and then the boys helped pull all the pumpkin guts out(which they thought was really cool!)and pick out the seeds so that we could have a delicious snack of baked pumpkin seeds! Yum! Jett was the ever patient observer while we worked away! So that is what's been happening in our neck of the woods! Happy Halloween! More pics to come after the festivities! Love you all!

Time is a flyin!!

I can't believe that it's already been 5 weeks since Jett came into the world! The last 5 weeks have been wonderful, stressful, and a big adjustment! Not really too hard to add another one, just trying to figure out how to get everything done that I need to! I've been failing at keeping the house spotless, the laundry done, dinner being cooked every night, and so on and so forth, but I have to tell you I don't feel like a failure! I would much rather spend my day trying to get those things done, but stopping for long periods just to snuggle and stare at my little miracles! Wyatt and Garrett LOVE Jett so much! They are so protective, sweet, and gentle with him! Now if only I could get Wyatt and Garrett to be sweet and gentle with each other, life would be AWESOME! But hey, we'll deal with that one later! I just love to sit and watch Wyatt and Garrett talk and stare at Jett, try to calm him down when he's crying, or just beg me to let them hold him! I couldn't ask for more! Anywho, this past month has been busy, the pics above show a little of what's been going on, Jett having his first bath, Ryan and I on my 25th birthday, and Jett at 1 month old! So, here are some fun facts about Jett:
-He is such a calm little baby and hardly ever cries.
-Wyatt and Garrett(and mommy and daddy)lovingly refer to him as "Jetty" most of the time.
-Although Wyatt also calls him "Jetty Eddy"
-He sleeps most of the night, only waking long enough to cry for his cow(that's me)and then goes right back to sleep as soon as he gets his cow!
-Wyatt and Garrett argue over who gets to hold him, or who gets to give him his pacifier if he does cry, and who gets to take his diapers to the trash(awesome I know!)
-He's pretty much got everyone wrapped around his little finger!
-He slept for the first 3 weeks of his life, and I was sure he didn't really have eyeballs cause he NEVER opened them!
So as you can see, we are all just smitten with this little guy and love him to pieces!!!

P.S. It's International Babywearing Week! So don't forget to wear your baby! It's such a bonding and comforting thing to do with your babies and children!

Hospital stay and going home!

Everyone meets baby Jett!

Here is all our guest that first night to meet Jett!

Introducing...finally...

Here we are ready to finally make our introductions....Blog friends here we have

Jett Isaac
Born August 17, 2009
6lbs 14 oz
4:50pm

I am so relieved and grateful that he is finally here. Now here is the story of his quick, and somewhat frightening entry into the world, and the aftermath.... So I have been more than miserable this pregnancy which you all know, but the last month was extremely brutal. Finally on Sunday the 16th at about 8:00pm, we headed up to the hospital because I could no longer handle the painful contractions I was experiencing and trying to convince myself that they were just braxton hicks, I just couldn't ignore them anymore. So they hooked me up to all their gadgets and gizmo's. Had me do all the norm like pee in a cup because the nurse thought I must just have a UTI since it was nearly a month to my due date. Then they put me on the blood pressure machine, and that's when everything went crazy! My blood pressure was through the roof, and the contractions were coming about every 3-5 minutes. My awesome new doctor came shortly thereafter. She wanted to just keep me there overnight to see if we couldn't get the contractions and blood pressure under control, she checked my cervix and it was dilated to a 2 and very very soft. She said she'd come in first thing in the morning, she wanted to consult with a college about my weirdo symptoms other than the blood pressure. She came in very early in the morning after a very long night for me, I didn't sleep at all! She said that she had talked to her college, and they had decided that they needed to get this labor going and get the baby here as soon as he would come. She said that they had agreed on the fact that I had developed late onset Preeclampsia, and it was progressing at a very rapid rate, they had done blood tests and my liver was already starting to fail. So I of course started bawling, actually I think I was bawling before that, but when she told me this news it go a lot worse! All these thought started running through my mind, like would I be there to watch my boys grow up? Was Jett going to be healthy at 4 weeks early? Would we be able to take him home? Would he have lifelong complications because he hadn't baked long enough? So they had to do a lot more tests and get me situated so the pitocine didn't get put into my IV until about a little after noon, then we waited a little while and about 2 they came in and gave me an epidural, no really wasn't in excruciating pain or anything, but as with my previous pregnancies, I wasn't dilating until they gave me the epidural, as soon as it had kicked in at 2:30ish I was already at a 3, and then at 3:30 my water broke. That's when it got really exciting. I had just closed my eyes for a little nap and the nurse came in and said, hey I need to check ya, the baby's heart did that dip thing it does after a contraction when you are about ready to push. I was like ok, so at 4 she checked me and I was at and 7, they called the dr and told her she needed to get there right away since I was progressing at such a rapid rate. So my doc got on her way, and they had the epidural guy come in and dose me up again to see if it would help in slowing down the progression. It really didn't but it did make the bottom half of my body as well as the top half go numb, and I could barely lift my arms they were so heavy! Kinda humorous now, but at the time it was REALLY annoying! So at about 4:30 the nurse came in again and checked me and I was fully dilated and the baby's head was descending down into the birth canal, there was just a tiny lip of skin holding him in! She had me lay on my side to see if that would help, did I mention the dr had to drive 30 miles or so to get to the hospital! Anywho they started getting me all set up at about 4:40, the doc came in at 4:45ish and Jett was born at 4:50 exactly! They had the respiratory therapist there and waiting for baby, but he came out a screamin, and healthy as a little horse! An awesome weight and length for a month early too! Could you imagine how freakin big he'd have been if I'd have gone full term?! So the next few days we spent in the hospital were because of me. We got there on Sunday, and left on Thursday. I am now on some blood pressure meds for a little while, and my liver has leveled off and the rest of me is on recovery! Wyatt and Garrett love baby Jett SO SO much, and I couldn't ask for more!

All the Happenings....

So, sorry I haven't blogged the last few months, but I have been very sick and miserable, and trying to find things to do with the boys to keep my mind off of being pregnant, while Ryan's been working like crazy! So, here is what we've been up to.... We've been finishing up Wyatt's soccer, we went huckleberry picking, we met our friends new and adorable baby Daxtin, and went and fed the ducks! I know some of you have been begging to see a preggie pic of me, so the one of me feeding the ducks is the best you are gonna get of the pregnant whale-ish-ness!

Wyatt's 1st soccer practice!

So here are some pics from Wyatt's 1st ever soccer practice! It was seriously one of the cutest things I have EVER witnessed! So funny to watch a handful of 4 year olds and one 5 year old playing soccer! Ryan and his best friend Dave are the coaches for the team and so that means that Wyatt and his best buddy Brysin are on the same team! Garrett is definitely having big brother sports envy at the moment, and wanted to play with the big boys SO bad! It is going to be such a challenge that he has to wait 2 more years before he can play any sport at all! I have a feeling he is going to drive me nuts!!! Such a cute thing to watch! I can't wait for their first game!!!
