Ok Kimber I'll bite and do the stupid tag, so here goes...
Rules:
1. Each player starts with 8 random habits/facts about themselves.
2. People who are tagged need to write a post on their blog about their eight things and post these rules.
3. At the end of the post you need to choose 8 people to get tagged and list their names.
Here are my 8 random facts/habits/emotionally disturbing pieces of information:
1. I am completely ocd, about pretty much everything, when things don't happen the way I think they should I start to get really panicked. Things like the laundry and the dishes have to be done in a certain order or it freaks me out! I am also insane about the boys bath routine it drives Ryan up the wall! And bedtime, the way and order the house is cleaned, ect, ect... My list could seriously go on forever so if you think something is weird, I probably do it!
2. I have more than the average fear of spiders, once when I was prego with Wyatt there was a hobo spider crawling down the side of the wall into my bed, and I had an extreme hysterical panic attack, with chest pains uncontrollably crying and in general a very stupid freak out, Ryan still thinks I am the worlds craziest person!
3. I love to create new things! It doesn't really matter what it is it could be a new variation on a favorite dish, a scrapbook for my boys, differently shaped cakes, new jammies for my kidos, I love to teach myself how to be a better cook, seamstress, cake decorator, gift giver, and memory maker!
4. I love love love action packed movies! Not horror necessarily, but movies like Spiderman, The Hulk, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Hellboy, Batman, Superman, anything that has a lot of butt kicking, or science fiction! I know I should have been born a very dorky boy, and don't get me wrong I love a good romantic comedy, but those I rent, it's the action packed man movies that I want to go see in the movie theater, and if it has a love story line to go a long with all the butt-kicking that's even better! I'm just a sucker for a happy ending!
5. I never wanted to be a cheerleader when I was a kid, I always wanted to be in the choir, I am such a nerd, but I would have taken choir for every subject if they'd have let me, and pretty much my entire senior year was spent in the choir room. I think I had 4 classes in that room that year because I was also an aid in the all girls choir and in guitar class along with my two choir classes I was in! And someday when I grow up I am still hoping to make it to Broadway! Yeah right but I can still dream eh?!
6. I am one of the nursery leaders in our ward and I love it! It cracks me up that when people find out that that is my calling and they start to give me the oh I am so sorry speech because I don't think I have ever had a calling that I love so much! There is just something so rewarding when you are at the store or somewhere like that and you see one of your little kids and they are so excited to see you, or when there is a kid that hates to go to nursery and then they decide they love you and want to go now! I just love it!
7. My favorite alone pass time is to read. I love a good book series that I can devour! I can read a whole series in as little as a week. It drives Ryan nuts when I find a new collection that I love! He doesn't like to read so he doesn't understand how I could get so obsessed with a book that I even dream about the book when I'm not reading it! He thinks he gets neglected in these times when I find a good book! And he probably does!
8. I am a complete an total klutz! I always have bruises everywhere, and I never remember how I got them because I run into, trip, slip, and fall so much that I can't keep track of when I did what, and where it hurt me! And it seems so far that my silly baby boy has inherited this clumsy trait from his dear mom, a trait that I hope he grows out of!
Ok, I tag: Ange, Jess, Erin, Krista, Misty, Sara, Keri, and Kara hope you enjoyed!

Toilet Trauma....

*unfortunatly I didn't get a photo of the incedent, so I thought I'd put this cute one up instead to remind me how sweet and adorable they can be!
Ok, so this happened last week, but it has taken me a few days to get over it, and now that I can look back on the situation and laugh I am ready to divulge the story. So the last few weeks I have not been feeling very well, and after a two day stint in the hospital, I went home to recuperate, the first day I was back my wonderful mother in law took the boys so that I could spend the day sleeping because I didn't get much sleep, but the next day I was all alone, I knew the boys would take advantage of my weakness, but I had no idea what was in store for me! Little did I know what closing my eyes for ten minutes while the boys were awake would bring me. I awoke with a start hearing Garrett screaming, which is a regular occurrence in our home due to the fact that his older brother is a big fat bully! Garrett has been teething too, so he wasn't his chipper self anyhow, so I went into the kitchen to make Garrett a bottle and then send him off to bed. When I went into the toy room to get him neither one of my sweet precious little imps were anywhere to be found, so I headed to their bedroom, and low and behold no childrens in there either. Hum.....I thought to myself starting to realize their location. See I am super obsessive about all the doors in the house being shut except for the toy room and the boys room usually, and to make it even more OCD I put childproof door nob covers on all the doors that aren't really where I want the kidos. This makes my life so much easier due to the fact that the toys NEVER stay in the toy room and there are only so many hours a day that I am going to clean them back up. Well Wyatt can open the doors with or without the cover, but he is usually my very good boy who always asks permission to go in said rooms, so I never really worry about the fact that they are useless to ward him off. Well, apparently today was not my lucky day because when I opened up the bathroom door there the toilet culprits were, soaked from head to toe in toilet water! Augh! Garrett was bawling due to the fact that Wyatt had just poured a bunch of toilet water on his head, and there was like a half in of it covering pretty much every surface in the bathroom. And here's the catch, you may think I'm gross for admitting this, but during the day when just the boys and I are home if Wyatt needs to go pee and only pee I don't flush it because I know he's just gonna go in like a half and hour again anyway. And so this said toilet water that was EVERYWHERE was peed in toilet water! YUCK! To make this wonderful event even more exciting Wyatt then professes to me that he had peed in the garbage can as well! Moral of the story is never fall asleep when your 3 year old is a genius, and always always flush your toilet!

Ode to Ryan!
So I'd like to also put a little ode out there to my wonderful and loving husband. So here is everything I can think of that makes you so special to me.
I love the way you make me laugh in the middle of an argument even if I was so mad a second before it's hard to be angry when I'm laughing so hard!
I love how you are obsessed about us being and active family, which without I am sure I'd be a hundred pounds heavier!
I love how you always say everything I cook is delicious even though I know it was gross.
I love that you knew I was the one for you, even with all my attempts to let you know I wasn't.
I love how you waited for me to figure out you were the one for me even after all my thwarted attempts.
I love how when I did finally figure out you were the one for me you let me squirm a little bit, and then took me with open arms!
I love that you totally tricked me in your proposal, and I seriously had no clue that you were going to ask me to marry you.
I love that you designed my wedding ring all by yourself, and didn't even ask for my imput.
I love that you still wanted me even though we didn't know if we would be able to have children.
I love that on our wedding day I was the one freaking out wanting to get out of there, and when I saw how calm and excited you were it made me want to stay with you.
I love that you took me to the temple to be your eteranl companion, in that wanted to keep me for eternity.
I love that when we first found out we were having a baby you wanted to get another job because you didn't want me to work, I didn't let you!
I love that you went with me to every doctors appointment when I was pregnant with both of our boys!
I love that everytime I've had to be hospitalized you are always there right by my side holding my hand.
I love that the one time I had to have surgery and you couldn't get off work that you drove down on your lunch break and was in the recovery room when I woke up just so you could kiss me and then head back to work.
I love how much you love to teach our boys to play sports and wrestle! Even though they are constantly tackling me and I'm not as good and sturdy as you are!
I love that you honor your preisthood, and that you were able to bless both of our beautiful children!
I love that our boys both look just like you! Even though I complain that they look nothing like me and I did all the work, I really do love to see your face in both of them.
I love that you let me sleep on the right side of the bed even though that's the side that you like.
I love that you do the dishes so that I don't have to.
I guess I could just go on and on forever, but mostly I just want to say I love you Ryan, and I couldn't ask for a better husband and father. You and our kids are the best things that ever happened to me, and I don't think I could ever thank our Heavenly Father enough for blessing me so much! I love you!
Happy Late Father's Day!
Ok, So I know that this is late, but I was really sick yesterday, and my sweet hubby was waiting hand and foot on me all day, so today is going to be Father's Day at the Archibald house. First of all I would like to make an ode to my dear old dad! I love you so very much! I know that I wouldn't be half the person I am today without you. I love your kind and loving spirit, and your willingness to put everyone's needs before your own. I don't think I've ever met a more generous person who is willing to give the last shirt he owns off his back to someone you deem in more need. Thank you so much for raising me in the gospel and teaching me of Jesus and Heavenly Father. I love you so dearly and am so thankful for you everyday!
I'd also like to put a little word out there for my other dad Doug. We love you so much! I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you to take Wyatt on your weekly adventure to the cattle auction! He loves to be with you, and I am greatful for a grandpa who wants to be able to spend some one on one time with his grandkids! You're the best! I love that most of the things I love about Ryan came from you! I love how supportive and loving you are about everything we do, and that we always know we can count on you! We love you so much!

We need the FUNK (well not me...)
Ok, so I don't know about the rest of my fellow bloggers out there, but I have been in a total and utter funk lately. I don't know if it's the weather or just the impending doom of life falling upon me. Doesn't it just seems like when it rain it pours in a very literal sense lately. Ryan and I are no different. It seems like just as soon as we get everything in order, it all falls back out of place again. Like the fact that we are just now beginning to get medical bills that are from January! AHHHHH! And of course they are not just little ones, they are the big ones that make you shake in your boots! And then everything got screwed up with our house payments, and we are still in the process of fixing that, which was not our fault in the first place, but seems to be that we have to fix it anyway. It makes me miss the days of renting when you didn't have to worry about homeowners exemptions, hazard insurance, and mortgage brokers. Don't you just ever feel too young to be dealing with all this stuff, that this is a grown ups job, but then you realize that you are supposed to be the grown up. Not to mention the fact that just now my face is deciding to go through it's adolecense, hey guess what face, I've got news for you, your about a decade late! What is the deal here people! Poor Ryan just looks and shakes his head yes to all my rantings, what a great guy huh?! And not to mention the fact that it is now officially June, and it is raining cats and dogs like everyday! I mean the rain wouldn't be bad if it was at least warm, but seriously! And then to cap it all off I caught the cat trying to eat my glofish! I mean I couldn't help myself from cracking a smile, but I was still mad. She had almost her entier front of her body in the 20 gallon tank! Ha! I guess it is a little hilarious! Then yesterday I had to take Garrett in for his 15 month appointment which ment shots, and let me tell you his is more than grouchy today, and I don't really blame him! They gave him 4 shots! Poor baby! And he is getting molars already! So that isn't really uplifting his mood either. I also am feeling like I spend more then 8 hours a day picking up after my family! Which I understand is like my lot in life, but seriously! The kidos have a toy room, but inevitably the toys end up everywhere! Do you think it's too early to send them to boarding school! Just kidding, but seriously! Ha! Sorry it seems like I am just totally complaining, and I am, but like I said I'm in a funk! Well, there is my venting, if any of you have anti-funk solutions let me know!

Happy 3rd Birthday Wyatt!
So today is the official day that my baby is 3 years old! I won't deny that I have been secretly or not so secretly dreading this day since he turned 2! I just cannot believe how big he is getting! He has always, and will always be a miracle to me. See just a two years before I was telling the man who would eventually become my husband that there was little to no chance at all that I may become pregnant, and if we were to try that it would be a long, painful, and grueling process. I was so sad the night that I told him because I was sure that no man would ever want such damaged goods. Much to my surprise(which I now have no idea why I was so worried in the first place)he loved me anyhow! I still ask myself almost everyday how I got so lucky! Then just a year and a half after we became eternal companions we were granted the miracle that is Wyatt. The first time I looked into his beautiful blue eyes I knew that I would never doubt or take for granted the power of the priesthood, blessings, or my Father in Heaven. So many years I had asked the Lord in earnest prayer why he had given me such a painful and at times heartbreaking trial in life. And that day three years ago I got my answer. Because Nanci you would never know how much you would or could fully appreciate this moment now. I am so so thankful, and can never fully in any word express just how thankful I am for my two beautiful children. Wyatt has been such a light in many of my darker days, and will always be! We just love you Wyatt so much and can't imagine life without your extremely infectious laugh, your big dimple, the silly things that you say at very random moments, how eager you are to learn anything new, your love of reading, the way you eat a grilled cheese sandwich, how you love to mother your little brother, your sweet sensitivity, and the powerful love we see you have for all those you know. We thank our Heavenly Father everyday for your sweet spirit. Happy Birthday son! We love you!

Spiderman, Spiderman....
Here are the pics from Wyatt's third birthday party! He won't actually be 3 until the 29th, but due to circumstances we decided to do the party this weekend, I was really afraid that no one would be able to come seeing as it is a holiday weekend, but surprisingly we had a really good turn out! Wyatt had a great time with his friends and cousins and loved his cake and cupcakes and his Spiderman pinata! It was so much fun, and I can't believe my baby is turning 3! He is such a big boy! Who knew that almost three years ago after 9 months of terrible pregnancy, 18 hours of hard labor and one little cry we'd be here now. I knew from the beginning that raising Wyatt would be a challenge. From the time I took that pregnancy test to now it has been a constant battle of wills! I am so proud of him! He has really grown into a very smart and somewhat obedient little boy! I can't believe how blessed I am to have such a sweet, caring, and sensitive little spirit in my home, I really couldn't ask for more than what I've been blessed with! We love you Wyatt, here's to the next 3 years and many more after that!
